Erich Delfs returned to MSC in 2017, and currently serves as Technical Director for the older Academy (9v9) teams. He has served as team coach for multiple ages, as well as stints as MSC's GK Coach and SAQ trainer.
Prior to returning, Delfs served as a Coaching Director at Trebol Soccer Club.
Before moving to Murfreesboro for his first stint, Delfs served as Director of Coaching for the Holston Valley Futbol Club (HVFC) where he helped establish the newly formed club in the Northeast Tennessee region. Due to the implementation of a new philosophy and curriculum across all age groups, Delfs helped elevate the level of play and opened the door for several of the club's former players to earn collegiate roster spots. While at HVFV, Delfs guided a group of 95 Boys to the Region II President's Cup title, going on to finish in the top three in the national tournament.
Before that, Delfs developed soccer talent in the northern Virginia region, many of whom went on to garner national recognition.
He currently also coaches two of our 2006 teams and manages the club's community afer-school efforts.
Delfs holds the USSF National C License, United Coaches Advanced National Diploma as well as a United Coaches GK Level 1 Diploma.
