MURFREESBORO SOCCER CLUB

ONLINE TRYOUT REGISTRATION

ALL PLAYERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO CREATE A NEW LOGIN DURING REGISTRATION

OPEN TRYOUTS DEFINED:

The Murfreesboro Soccer Club open tryouts/player evaluations will be held in May (see schedule for dates and times) and are open to all players who meet the age requirements for the teams in question. Each prospect will be given a fair opportunity to make a team in the Murfreesboro Soccer Club. Late tryouts may be held in July after initial tryouts to fill teams. The open tryout evaluation will consist of 2 sessions. Keep in mind that the DOC will consult with the previous or current select coach for input about player.

There will be a $10.00 fee for participants attending tryouts. This is a one-time charge that covers all tryout sessions participated in.

Tryout procedure and criteria for selection:

All participating players will provided a numbered/colored bib or jersey that uniquely identifies them from the other players. Players MUST provide cleats, shin guards and ball. Players will not be allowed to tryout without proper equipment.

The player must attend two sessions lasting 1 and 1/2 hours, if they are not current MSC Select players. Current MSC Select players must attend one session, but are encourage to attend both sessions. The players will be asked to participate in various soccer-related activities to assess them in the following attributes.
