Strikers Team/Individual Soccer Camp

June 18-22, 2012

Team Camp will be mandatory for U8 - U12 teams for

the Fall Season.  It is highly recommended for U14 and above.

All team coaches will be in attendance to coach and

instruct their teams.


 

The Camp will be held at the Richard Siegel Soccer Park.

MORNING SESSIONS:

Players learn different skills thru games and exercises. Different skills will be introduced daily to help players have success in the afternoon games. Part of the morning sessions will be dedicated to improving overall footwork.

SAMPLE DAILY SCHEDULE:

8:30 - 9:00am - Players Arrive

9:00 - 9:15am - Fast Foot Work

9:15 - 10:00am - Skills Session 1

10:00 - 11:00am - Skills Session 2

11:30am - Lil Sharpies Leave

11:00am - Noon - Lunch and rest

12:00 - 1:00pm - Team Session 1

1:00 - 2:00pm - Team Session 2

2:00 - 2:45pm - Scrimmage

2:45 - 3:00pm - Cool Down

3:00pm - Players Leave

AFTERNOON SESSIONS:

Will concentrate on team development in all aspects of the game.

 

ACADEMY DIRECTOR
Bill Vice

Coach Vice has a proven track record of excellence in soccer. He is a proven clinician for Tennessee State Soccer and serves as Central District Coordinator and Lead Instructor for the E and D license. He has a USSF National “A” License and is head coach at Blackman High School and the MSC Director of Coaching. His experience in both teaching and coaching bring to the Academy the best in instruction and soccer camp experience.

 

STAFF:
Will include Strikers Team coaches, many who have both state and national coaching licenses. 

 

What To Bring and Wear:
  • Shin guards, Cleats or Tennis shoes
  • Sunblock
  • Large water bottle
  • Sack Lunch (concession stand will be open for snacks and / or drinks from 11:00 - 12:00)
